ASSASSINS FINISH THE YEAR 9 - 3 - 0

 

This means we qualify for the National Plate Finals as #1 seeds (#9 overall in the UK), which will take place at Stourbridge Rugby Club on Saturday 10 August,

 

The event starts with the Plate finals in the morning, featuring four second place finishers from the six U17 youth contact conferences, as well as the four third place finishers with the best records. The four second placed teams are Yorkshire Assassins, Solent Seahawks, Birmingham Lions and Edinburgh Napier Knights. They will be joined by Cobham Cougars, Manchester Titans South, Etone Jaguars and Lincolnshire Bombers.

Kicking off at 10.30am, all teams will play three rounds of fixtures, starting with the highest seeds playing the lowest in a quarter-final, then a winners vs winners semi-final round and ranking rounds for the knocked-out teams. The event culminates in a final game between the two undefeated teams at 2.45pm. The first games and seedings are set as follows:
